BSCAA Victoria's Women in Leadership panel discussion aims to focus on the challenges and opportunities for women in leadership positions in the industry. The panellists will provide stories and some of their thoughts on this topic and how women can overcome the challenges they face in a leadership position. 

This event is inclusive to all members wanting to support, showcase or celebrate women in our industry.

About Kristiana Greenwood

Kristiana is currently working part-time as Corporate Ambassador for GJK Facility Services. After 3 years working full-time at GJK as Director Strategic Relationships, she transitioned to this part-time role in order to make more time to pursue her Board director career.

Prior to this role, she was the Co-founder and Director of FM Innovations, an award-winning technology company which she sold in early 2019 to PayApps, a leading global software platform for construction and building operations. Kris is a graduate of AICD and was appointed the first female Chair of FMA Australia in 2015, and was on the board until 2022.

She was recently honoured with a prestigious Life Membership award for her contribution to the FM industry. She is a Non-Executive Director of PayApps, an Ambassador of Housing All Australians, a Director of TEN Women, an Advisory Board member of PNO Insurance and an Advisory Board Member of GJK Facility Services.

Kris has also been a regular judge for the PCA Innovations & Excellence Awards and the People in Property Awards as well as a judge on FMA New Zealand Awards.


About Alexandra Lawlor

Alex brings more than 30 years’ experience as an Architect, Development Manager, and senior executive in Australia, having worked across all sectors of the property industry. As National Lead at Architectus since 2021, following over nine years leading campus development at the University of Melbourne, she has in-depth knowledge of major cultural and education projects, innovation precincts, and community development.

Alex has specialist skills in sustainability and resilience, precinct and major project development, and community and civic strategy, particularly in education, arts and culture, residential, and health developments. In recent engagements, she has shared her experience with strategy and business case development, managing complex stakeholder groups, and government relations.

A Director of the TEN Women, Alex is passionate about furthering diversity and inclusion in the property industry and in non-traditional areas for women – she is patron of the University of Melbourne AON 7’s Women’s Rugby team, as well as a foundation member of North Melbourne AFLW and Hawthorn AFLW.

Alex has been a mentor with the Property Council of Australia 500 Women, Australian Institute of Architects, Melbourne Law School, and Melbourne University Sport. In her current role, Alex oversees the development and implementation of the Architectus Social Responsibility strategies, including the Reconciliation Action Plan.

About Fiona Dunster

Fiona is a  senior globally experienced property investment executive with strong skills in strategy and execution, deal origination, transaction management and acquisition, asset creation, business development, risk, building highly specialised teams and board representation. Driven, outcome focused and commercially savvy with excellent stakeholder management skills, an inclusive and approachable manner, high levels of motivation and an effective coaching and mentoring approach to leadership.

Fiona is currently on a career break ‘resting and recharging’ on the back of 4 years with AustralianSuper where she was a Senior Investment Director within the Property team. At AusSuper Fiona held primary responsibility for designing and implementing how AustralianSuper identified, assessed, and implemented direct property development investment across the portfolio globally. Fiona was responsible for uplifting the Funds property development capability to support ambitions to invest directly in property development. The role included Investment origination, transaction, acquisition and asset creation. Fiona was a Director on all Boards responsible for the Fund’s residential and industrial develop to core investments in Australian and New Zealand.

Fiona brings more than 25 years’ experience in commercial property development and investment. Fiona’s experience spans investment strategy, planning, design and delivery into major development projects across all sectors. Fiona has particular expertise in management of stakeholder relationships, risk assessment and mitigation of high-value high-risk investments, commercial negotiations, master-planning and leading complex investment transactions.

A Co-founder of the TEN Women group Fiona has been pivotal in empowering women across the property industry and furthering gender equality.
