BSCAA Constitution Zoom Presentation

Good afternoon, BSCAA Executives,

I am pleased to be able to provide the Executives with the final draft of BSCAA Ltd's constitution as a single entity.

The state Boards and the BSCAA Ltd Board are asked to review and provide feedback by 15 September, the process will be;

• BSCAA National will forward a copy of the updated constitution to each of the State Executives for review. Please click here to view the constitution.
• Zoom presentation on the updated constitution scheduled for Tuesday, 5 September, at 2 pm. Kim Puxty, CEO and Kate Yan, Lawyer, Governology will be presenting.
  
• State Presidents to discuss the updated constitution with their Executives, seeking approval or feedback.
• Approval or feedback is due Friday, 15 September
• Any changes will be addressed urgently, and the process will be repeated.
• No changes, then the notice for a Special Resolution will be sent to the BSCAA Ltd Board for approval of the updated constitution.
• On approval of the Special Resolution, the updated constitution will be operational.

Please take note that a minimum of 21 days' notice is required for a Special Resolution. This is why the due date for the updated constitution approval is set for 15 September, to allow for ample time to address any concerns. Our target is to get the updated constitution approved before 31 October.
